oh those fluffy white clouds barbara! oh when the golden children were just kids, in trenton, ontario, we used to go on hikes and lay on the grassy forest grounds and look up a the clouds as they drifted by. we used to imagine that our aunt della who live a couple of hundred miles away and who we really loved, was looking at those very same clouds! shucks..what did little kids know about weather. for all we knew she could of have been having a sad and lonely rainy day and was thinking about the golden kids and how nice it would be to have them come visiting! after we had spent the time looking at the clouds barb, we would go and pick the wild strawberries and when we got home i would make "jam" for us all and spread it over bread! this post of yours has brought back these precious childhood memories to me. thank you for taking the time to write it! love terry
I'm a fast learner, but sometimes I don't listen very well. I love to eat huckleberries (wild blueberries) and popcorn, dig in the garden, chew on sticks, nibble on flowers, chase bunnies out of the yard, and drink from the pond. I can fetch a pretty mean ball and worry the heck out of the neighbor's big Doberman! I love to snuggle with Miss Barb in her recliner... it's the best place to take a nap! I think I'll keep her.
What perfect photos! On tuesday I said it was an absolutely perfect day (minus the black flies). Looks like you had one too.
ReplyDeleteWow gorgeous photos! The way the dew is laying on the leaves is so pretty! Great eye. :)
